Fort Hills Fire Protection system Commissioning and Maintenance
Rotaflow was awarded the scope to undertake the commission of the fire protection system installed at the Fort Hills mine complex in 2016. Since then, Rotaflow has been the single trusted partner to provide ongoing support for maintenance and routine weekly, monthly and annual inspections of the entire fire protection system at this site. Activities included but were not limited to:
- Fire alarm systems inspections
- Fire-Water piping flushing and flow test for underground piping
- Hydrants Flow test and inspection
- PIVs inspections
- Flow test and functionality test for Manifolds, firefighting monitors, sprinkler systems, stand Pipe hose station systems
- FM200 Fire suppression systems inspections
- Foam Suppression System flow testing
- Dry Chemical Suppression System inspections
