Industrial Utility Lines Maintenance & Repair
Rotaflow has awarded a maintenance contract by Suncor in 2019 to take over the repair and maintenance of underground industrial utility lines at one of their facilities in Northern Alberta. The scope includes inspection and repair of firewater, potable water, sanitary sewer, Natural Gas, and Diesel Lines at this site.
Rotaflow team activities included exploratory work to find the location of the leaks on the line, using different methods to expose the damaged part of the underground line, sinking shoring boxes with hydro-vac, safe out the excavation, control of the underground water, repair of the line, backfilling and soil compaction. Rotaflow also undertook HDPE pipe spools fusing and performing a hydro test to prove the quality of the fusing joints.
